COLORFUL PASSIONATE DREAMS IN YOUR BEDROOM

COLOR UP YOUR DREAMS
STYLE & FURNISH YOUR BEDROOM FOR GREATER PLEASURE

NOT  COLOR 'FULL'

A reduced color palette unifies space.

An interesting trick to add to the illusion of expanse- and I have successfully used this – is to paint the walls the same color as the flooring.

If you use a dun marbogranite tile then the wall can be painted similar beige for a seamless monochromatic effect. keep to the same tones and family of colors for the bedspreads and drapes- -here camel, beige, ivory, smatterings of gold, ecru all give a very light, relaxing Santa Fe beachy effect.

NO BUSY PRINTS

Nothing is more gauche and unsettling than a bedroom bursting with busy prints. The room is therapeutic, conducive to relaxation; you can breathe easier if you use maybe a wash of soothing lilac or fashionable lavender.

If you like that added energy and pizzazz a blast of unbridled color for accessories is like a shot in the arm.

SOME WHIMSY

Not everyone would be open to having a dividing wall of glass between the bathroom and bedroom, but I have seen it used effectively in actress Deepti Naval’s home.

For some adventure and desire to infuse the room with a sense of whimsy it immediately adds to the square feet area of the room and becomes an interesting attention focus. A screen can be extended when the bathroom is in use and if cubicles and pony walls are used then this too is not necessary.

NO CLUTTER

Medieval manor houses might have been known for ‘dressing rooms’ adjoining master suites, but today they are a distinguishing feature of modern, fashionable and luxurious homes. Separate dressing rooms for each spouse, adjoined the master's bedroom in times of yore in order to separate the dressing activities.

MULTI -TASK YOUR ROOM

Today dressers, chests, wardrobes, armoires , a countertop with one or more lavatories and vanity cabinet for grooming and makeup storage are often used and the master bedroom is then free of a dressing table and the bath of a vanity lavatory.

The Master bedroom is the most personal of all the rooms , off limits at to most adding to the mystery of a home. An area where one can throw off those angst ridden shoes and relax from the busy DINK or Yuppie life we lead
