IN THE PRIVACY OF THE BEDROOM! BY NISHA JAMVWAL
Private Sanctuary
Making your bedroom into a cave like cossetted private sanctuary is treating yourself to intimate moments of recharging your tired batteries in an atmosphere of comfort and calm. That main special bedroom can then become that escape retreat where you would unwind from a rushed , traffic angst day.

DO IT IN THE KITCHEN By Nisha JamVwal
Kitchen Design Innovative Ideas
By Nisha JamVwal
They say 'cook to work off stress'. Going by this saying I'd say let's design kitchens which are so convenient - everything at hand, easily accessible, easy to find - that the experience of cooking can be a soothing, calming journey, away from the angst of city life.
Camouflaged Appliances
To maintain the ambiance of serenity without interfering with appliance use, camouflage bulky appliances. Stow small appliances out of view, but within easy reach.

With good domestic help scarce and food still a preoccupation with many people, if the ‘emotional center of the house’ - the Kitchen - is not well planned, you could end up feeling uncomfortable in an otherwise well-designed house.
Dress Up Your Obscure passages, Corners, Corridors & Foyers
We do have the tendency to ignore these telltale areas that are the give-away’s to the caliber of a house and its attention to detail. When treated with ingenuity - a repertoire of columns, entablatures, brackets, pendulum lamps, swathes of drapery and surrealistically exaggerated vistas, complementing fanciful artificial foliage and throw rugs – these very nooks and otherwise ignored areas transform into fanciful focal points that amplify a goodlooking home.

LOFTS , FOYERS, SPACES TO LOOK OUT FOR
Nothing looks worse than open shoe racks. I rather like an antique cabinet to enhance a foyer which also holds keys and shoes, and so not have any paraphernalia visible.
Should the space be limited, carve out a cavity into the wall - about three feet wide and eighteen inches deep - by the entry, eating a small slice into the room that lies on the other side – its a shoe console with mirror above. I cannot say enough about the expanse and sense of mystique a mirror adds to a drab foyer.

COLORFUL PASSIONATE DREAMS IN YOUR BEDROOM
COLOR UP YOUR DREAMS
STYLE & FURNISH YOUR BEDROOM FOR GREATER PLEASURE
NOT COLOR 'FULL'
STYLE & FURNISH YOUR BEDROOM FOR GREATER PLEASURE
NOT COLOR 'FULL'
An interesting trick to add to the illusion of expanse- and I have successfully used this – is to paint the walls the same color as the flooring.
If you use a dun marbogranite tile then the wall can be painted similar beige for a seamless monochromatic effect. keep to the same tones and family of colors for the bedspreads and drapes- -here camel, beige, ivory, smatterings of gold, ecru all give a very light, relaxing Santa Fe beachy effect.
